Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Vietnam is between December and March as the weather is clear and sunny with cooler temperatures of around 30 degrees, as opposed to 35 in the warmer months. This makes for a good season if you are planning on taking boat trips and want to enjoy the outdoors.

Cuisine

A lot of Vietnamese food and dishes consist of some form of rice or noodles steamed and sweet and sour flavours. Popular dishes you will find in Vietnam are Goi Cuon (spring rolls), Pho (noodle soup), Cha Ca, and their fresh fish.

History and Culture

Vietnam has a big history involving the civil war as well as their conflict with China hundreds of years ago. This left it’s affect on Vietnam and it became independent in 1945. The culture of Vietnam is of that they follow the Confucius system that focuses on the behaviours and attitudes towards one another. They also don’t like showing affection in public and body language towards other people is also something Vietnamese people have strong opinions on.
