Named after Mount Kenya, also known as Kirinyaga, the Mountain of Whiteness, Kenya is bisected by the Great Rift Valley and lies on the equator. Best Time to Visit
For safaris, the best time visit is during the dry months of June – September. However, wildlife viewing is still good for most of the year.

Masai Mara is the most famous of Kenya’s resorts – this is where you can observe the Great Migration in July-September. This migration sees the coming together of thousands of plains game migrate into this one reserve, which is an extraordinary thing to observe. Other popular resorts include Amboseli National Park, The Lakes, Indian Ocean beach resorts and Nature Reserves in the North of the country.
